I got a voicemail from the # 610-231-8683 today, but research brought up this 855 # because it mentions the same scam message noted, also on several other sites ".... 1492 Back Bay Landing Road, Virginia Beach ZIP code 23457 with an amount of $1457 with 85 cents. We need to verify if you made the order. If you do not recognize the order and want to cancel press 1, for more information press 2, if you placed this order press 3 to hang up and accept the charges."

I was sent an email listing this number saying I was behind on one of my affirm payments firm payments. However when I called this number it keeps asking me questions about my household and whether I have people in it 55 or older. Never takes me to anyone. Then tells me I qualify for free roadside assistance?

As far as I am concerned this is a scam. I got a call from 855-423-3729 wanting to know if I authorized a charge in Virginia Beach of $1,375.00. I do not have an AFFIRM account, nor have I every had an AFFIRM account so I hung up the phone. Once I hung up the phone I did a search on the number which is how I found out it is associated with AFFIRM. It was a very disrupting call and I am now very concerned that someone is trying to steal my identity. I read the BBB reports on this company and find that there are many people who have issues on their credit due to unauthorized charges on an AFFIRM account that they never even set up. I will pursue this until I get to the bottom of it. I am a senior citizen and, thus, targeted by these type of schemes frequently. I wish I had never answered the phone.
