This number called me four times around Nov 20 2024. I declined one of the calls. On one of the calls they left a message and the message was just a person saying "Hello? Hello?" as if they were the ones that had picked up the phone from a call. Left me wondering if these calls have to do with someone using my number for a spoofed 'from' number? Very odd.

When I receive a call from this number, (646) 889-8293, and I answer the call, they hang up on me. When I miss the call from this number, (646) 889-8293, it goes to voicemail and records silence for 7 seconds before it disconnects. When I call this number back I am immediately routed to voicemail where the message states that it's a outbound call center for many non-profit organizations and to leave a message. I left the voicemail that I'm in the do not call registry and have requested they stop calling me. Really, if they hang up on me when I do answer, don't leave a message when I don't answer, but keep calling me, what is the point? While I blocked this number on my phone, it still rings through. I don't get it.
