We have never had one of these loans. What was scary is that they had information regarding current employer (from 2016), birthdate and last 4 of SS# that they wanted to confirm. They never stated how much the 'loan' was for or where it was processed. However, as my husband pointed out to them, all of the information they had was public record. They threatened legal action and my husband told them to go ahead so that he can bring legal action against them as well after he asked for them to provide all evidence in written form by mail and they refused.
